Xiaomi has recently announced the mass-produced version of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, which has been declared by the Chinese MIIT. The car is currently available for pre-sale at a price of 814,900 yuan (approximately 114,200 USD) and is set to make its official debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 15. The official market launch of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is scheduled for March 2025. Xiaomi has high hopes for the SU7 Ultra, envisioning it as the “fastest four-door mass-produced car on the planet.”
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra boasts dimensions of 5070(5115)/1970/1465 mm (length/width/height) with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. It has a curb weight of 2360 kg, a top speed of 318 km/h, an approach angle of 12°, and a departure angle of 15°. The car runs on 265/35ZR21 front tires and 305/30ZR21 rear tires.
Powering the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra are three electric motors:
– Front motor: 288 kW (386 hp) supplied by Suzhou Inovance Automotive
– Rear left motor: 425 kW (570 hp) supplied by Xiaomi
– Rear right motor: 425 kW supplied by Xiaomi
The combined maximum output of the system is an impressive 1138 kW (1526 hp) with a peak torque of 1770 Nm. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h. The ternary lithium battery, provided by CATL, offers a CLTC cruising range of 620 km. Fast charging the battery from 10% to 80% takes only 11 minutes.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features a carbon fiber rear wing with a wingspan of 1560 mm and a chord length of 240 mm, providing a maximum downforce of 285 kg. The interior of the car is sporty, with yellow accents that complement the exterior. The new sports seats feature embroidery stripes and Ultra logos. Carbon fiber is used in 17 different locations throughout the interior, including the front seats, center console, door sills, steering wheel, and roof, resulting in a total weight reduction of 12 kg.
