Xiaomi is gearing up to release its highly anticipated SUV, codenamed MX11, and new details about the interior have recently emerged. A leaked spy shot hinted at a unique center console design different from its predecessor, the SU7. The latest information reveals that the interior of the Xiaomi SUV will indeed be significantly different, with a focus on innovative features.

One of the standout features is a long, thin screen that spans the length of the dashboard, referred to as the ‘first display.’ This screen is designed to enhance the driver’s view of vehicle information and improve overall driving safety. It remains unclear whether this display will work in conjunction with a larger infotainment screen or replace it altogether.

Additionally, leaked images of the SUV’s door panels showcase a unique design in bone snail purple and red-orange colors. The doors feature a push-button opening mechanism on the door handle, with a mechanical backup located in the storage compartment for added convenience.

A nighttime shot of the car charging reveals a halo or semi-halo light pattern at the rear, adding to the sleek and modern design of the Xiaomi SUV. The vehicle boasts a low-lying profile and a long front end, reminiscent of the Xiaomi SU7’s design language.

When it comes to performance, the Xiaomi SUV is expected to offer both single-motor and dual-motor versions. The single-motor variant will feature a 220 kW electric motor with 400 Nm of torque on the rear axle. In comparison, the dual-motor version will include a 220 kW electric motor with 338 Nm on the front axle and a 275 kW electric motor with 500 Nm of torque on the rear axle.

The SUV is rumored to come with three battery pack options: 73.6 kWh, 94.3 kWh, and 101 kWh, with the two smaller packs using lithium iron phosphate chemistry and the largest pack utilizing NCM battery chemistry.

Fans can expect the Xiaomi SUV to hit the market in the first quarter of 2025, following a similar launch pattern to the SU7. With its cutting-edge features and impressive performance capabilities, the Xiaomi SUV is poised to make a splash in the competitive SUV market.
