Xpeng AeroHT has exciting news for car enthusiasts and tech lovers alike. The company recently announced that it will be showcasing its innovative modular flying car, the Land Aircraft Carrier, at the prestigious CES 2025 in Las Vegas. This groundbreaking vehicle is a combination of a three-axle aircraft carrier with a range extender and a flying unit equipped with two seats. The Land Aircraft Carrier is set to hit the market in 2026 with an estimated price tag of around 2 million yuan (approximately 280K USD).

The Land Aircraft Carrier is the latest offering from Xpeng’s flying car unit, Xpeng AeroHT, and has already generated considerable buzz in the industry. Following its successful public flight in November 2024, which garnered over 2,000 orders, the vehicle has been spotted undergoing road tests. Even Xpeng’s CEO, He Xiaopeng, has personally tested the Land Aircraft Carrier on the road. Now, in early 2025, the modular flying car will make its way to the US for the CES 2025 exhibition in Las Vegas.

CES is a highly anticipated annual event that showcases the latest products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry, making it the perfect platform for Xpeng AeroHT to unveil its cutting-edge Land Aircraft Carrier. While there are no immediate plans for the vehicle’s launch in North America, the company’s presence at CES is aimed at building brand reputation and generating interest in the modular flying car.

Production of the Xpeng Land Aircraft Carrier is slated to begin in 2026, with a target production capacity of 10,000 units per year. Priced at 2 million yuan, the vehicle has already received thousands of orders from interested enterprises. The Land Aircraft Carrier’s “Mothership” is a large three-axle vehicle that serves as an extended-range electric vehicle, with an internal combustion engine acting as a generator. This setup allows for a combined range of 1,000 km.
