Xpeng continues to see strong demand for its P7+ mid to large-size electric sedan, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 40,000 units just four months after its launch. This announcement was made by Xpeng’s chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, on Weibo.
According to Mr. He, one-third of P7+ buyers have replaced their gasoline cars, indicating a shift towards electric vehicles in the market. In the current month alone, 7,153 units of the P7+ have been delivered, bringing the total deliveries to 32,847 units by the end of February.
The P7+ was launched on November 7, 2024, with three variants available at different price points. It measures 5,056 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, 1,512 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Unlike previous models, the P7+ does not come with LiDAR technology but instead utilizes a pure vision system called the Eagle Eye vision solution, powered by Nvidia Orin X chips.
In addition to the P7+, Xpeng’s Mona M03 sedan is also performing well in the market. The Mona M03, launched on August 27, 2024, offers three variants at varying price points and has seen cumulative deliveries nearing 100,000 units. In February alone, the Mona M03 delivered 15,312 vehicles, marking the third consecutive month of deliveries exceeding 15,000 units.
Overall, Xpeng delivered 30,453 vehicles in February, a significant increase from the same period last year. The success of models like the P7+ and Mona M03 has contributed to Xpeng’s strong performance in the electric vehicle market.
As Xpeng continues to innovate and expand its lineup, with updated versions of the G6 and G9 SUVs recently launched, the company is poised to maintain its position as a key player in the electric vehicle industry. With a focus on quality, performance, and affordability, Xpeng is meeting the evolving needs of consumers looking to make the switch to electric vehicles.
