Xpeng, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer in China, recently launched its highly anticipated Xpeng P7+ model on November 7. The response to the new vehicle was overwhelming, with the company announcing that they received a record-breaking 31,528 firm orders on the day of the launch. This achievement highlights the strong demand for electric vehicles in the Chinese market.

The Xpeng P7+ is available in three trims, each offering a different range and acceleration time. The Long Range Max trim boasts a range of 602-615 km and an acceleration time of 6.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The Ultra Long Range Max trim offers an impressive range of 710-725 km and a faster acceleration time of 5.9 seconds. Additionally, the Limited Edition Max trim, with only 500 units available in the first batch, provides a range of 685-700 km and the same acceleration time as the Ultra Long Range Max trim.

One of the key highlights of the Xpeng P7+ is its expected CLTC range after planned OTA updates in December. This feature will enhance the vehicle’s range and performance, further solidifying its position as a top contender in the electric vehicle market.

The exterior design of the Xpeng P7+ is sleek and modern, with five available paint colors and three interior themes to choose from. The vehicle’s dimensions are 5056mm in length, 1937mm in width, and 1512mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. The P7+ features the world’s thinnest battery pack at 109mm thick and an impressive drag coefficient of 0.206Cd.

Under the hood, the Xpeng P7+ is powered by a rear electric motor and an 800V platform. The vehicle offers two motor options: a high-power version with 230kW (308 hp) and a low-power version with 180kW (241 hp). With a maximum speed of 200 km/h, the Xpeng P7+ provides a thrilling driving experience. The vehicle comes with two lithium iron phosphate battery pack options: 60.7kWh and 76.3kWh, offering ranges of 602 km, 710 km, and 685 km.

The vehicle also offers Nappa leather seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, 20 speakers, ambient lighting with four modes, and various storage compartments for convenience.

In terms of cargo space, the Xpeng P7+ provides a standard trunk volume of 725L, which can be expanded to 2221L to accommodate larger items. This spacious design allows for versatile storage options, making the vehicle practical for everyday use.

Overall, the Xpeng P7+ sets a new standard for electric vehicles with its impressive range, performance, and luxurious features. With its successful launch and record-breaking orders, the Xpeng P7+ is shaping up to be a game-changer in the electric vehicle market.
