Zeekr, a prominent electric vehicle (EV) maker listed on the NYSE under the ticker ZK, has recently made a bold move into the luxury market by unveiling the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition. This new variant of the flagship MPV comes with a hefty price tag of RMB 899,000 ($123,150), which is 14 percent higher than the luxurious Zeekr 009 Grand. Deliveries for this exclusive model are scheduled to commence in June.

The Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition is designed to cater to the affluent segment of the market, offering unique elements and a more exclusive character compared to its counterparts. The vehicle boasts a range of premium features aimed at targeting business owners and CEOs who seek luxury and sophistication in their vehicles.

One of the standout features of the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition is the inclusion of seven emblems adorned with 3 grams of 24K pure gold, which can be found on the front, rear, and wheel hubs of the vehicle. These luxurious touches, combined with the sleek black body and glossy grille, create a sense of prestige and value that sets this model apart from the rest.

In terms of specifications, the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition is powered by dual electric motors that deliver 580 kW of peak power and 810 Nm of peak torque. This allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, providing a thrilling driving experience for those who appreciate performance.

The vehicle is equipped with a Li-ion ternary battery pack with a capacity of 108 kWh, offering a CLTC range of 702 kilometers. The battery pack, sourced from CATL (SHE: 300750), supports 5C fast charging and can travel over 500 kilometers with just 11.5 minutes of charging time.

Zeekr has gone to great lengths to ensure that the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition stands out in the ultra-luxury market in China. The company aims to capture a significant share of this market segment, highlighting the vehicle’s popularity among affluent buyers.

With deliveries set to begin in June, the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition is now open for ordering. This exclusive model is expected to further solidify Zeekr’s position in the luxury EV market and attract discerning customers who value both performance and luxury in their vehicles.
