The Zeekr Mix electric minivan has officially started deliveries in China, offering customers a unique driving experience with its hidden B-pillars and 3 sliding doors. Priced at 279,900 yuan (39,250 USD), the Zeekr Mix boasts a record-breaking interior space utilization rate, making it a popular choice among Chinese car buyers.

The launch of the Zeekr Mix took place on October 23, marking the sixth addition to the Geely-backed brand’s lineup. Despite some initial complaints about the high price tag, Zeekr reported that 70% of customers opted for the top-trim model, priced at 299,900 yuan (42,100 USD). The first batch of Zeekr Mix cars was delivered to customers in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu just a day after the market launch.

Zeekr has achieved an industry-leading delivery speed with the Mix, highlighting their commitment to customer satisfaction. The volume production of the Mix began on October 21, and within just 3 days, customers were already receiving their vehicles. The long-awaited model first applied for a sales license in China in March 2024, making its market debut seven months later.

With a range of battery options and features, the Zeekr Mix offers customers a range of choices to suit their needs. The top-trim model comes with a 102 kWh ternary NMC battery for a 702 km range, while the entry-level model features a 76 kWh LFP pack for a 550 km range. Additionally, customers have the option to add the Zeekr Stargate interactive LED element in the front end for an extra cost.

The exact volume of the first batch of Zeekr Mix cars remains unknown, but Zeekr’s overall sales performance has been strong. In the first 9 months of 2024, the brand delivered 142,873 cars, surpassing 62.1% of its sales target. The launch of the Zeekr Mix is expected to further boost the brand’s sales volume in the final quarter of the year.

The Zeekr Mix features a unique exterior design with short overhangs and a spacious interior with a 93% in-cabin space utilization rate. With a single e-motor in the rear axle producing 310 kW (415 hp), the Mix offers a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. Customers can choose between two battery options to achieve their desired range, making the Zeekr Mix a versatile and practical choice for electric minivan enthusiasts.
