Mercedes-Benz continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology with the introduction of the EQE SUV. At the heart of this sleek and stylish SUV is a 96.0-kwh battery pack, slightly smaller than the one found in the larger EQS SUV. Despite its size, the EQE SUV offers a range of drive configurations, each with its own unique characteristics, all powered by permanent magnet motors.

The base EQE 350+ SUV comes equipped with a rear-drive system and a 215-kwh motor, delivering 288 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. Mercedes claims a 0-60 mph time of 6.3 seconds for this model, although official testing has yet to confirm this. Opting for the dual-motor EQE 350+ 4Matic SUV shaves off 0.1 seconds from the acceleration time, thanks to a second motor at the front axle that boosts total torque to 564 lb-ft. Despite the slight weight gain, this model offers improved performance and efficiency, with a usable battery capacity of 90.6 kwh.

For those seeking even more power, the EQE 500 4Matic SUV is the top-tier option. With dual motors generating a total of 300 kw, this model produces an impressive 536 hp and 633 lb-ft of torque, propelling it from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds.

In terms of handling, the EQE SUV impresses with its agility and responsiveness on the road. The available adaptive dampers and air suspension, along with multiple drive modes, allow for a customizable driving experience tailored to individual preferences. Models equipped with rear-axle steering offer improved maneuverability at lower speeds, making parking and tight turns a breeze.

The AMG EQE SUV takes performance to the next level, with dual motors producing 460 kw and delivering 617 hp and 701 lb-ft of torque. With the optional Dynamic Plus package, output is increased to 677 hp and 738 lb-ft, resulting in a 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds. The AMG variant features a more aggressive design with lower suspension and enhanced aerodynamics, giving it a sporty and dynamic appearance.

Overall, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV lineup offers a range of options to suit different driving preferences, from efficient and practical to high-performance and exhilarating. With cutting-edge technology and impressive performance capabilities, the EQE SUV is a compelling choice in the competitive electric SUV market.
