2024 Mercedes-Benz SL Class Review, Ratings, Specs, Prices, and Photos

The Mercedes-Benz AMG SL-Class and AMG GT are two powerful sports cars that offer a thrilling driving experience. Both models are rated highly, scoring a 9 out of 10 for their performance and comfort.

The AMG SL-Class comes with rear-wheel drive, while the 4Matic and S E Performance models are equipped with all-wheel drive that can disconnect the front axle for a more dynamic driving experience.

In terms of speed, the AMG SL-Class offers a range of power options, from 416 hp to a staggering 805 hp. The 43 models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine that delivers 416 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. The SL 55 and 63 models feature a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine with 469 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, offering quicker acceleration times.

The AMG GT models also come with a variety of powertrains, with the top-of-the-line 63 S E Performance model producing an impressive 805 hp and 1,047 lb-ft of torque. This model can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, making it the quickest and most powerful Mercedes ever.

Both the SL-Class and GT models offer sharp steering, agile handling, and strong brakes. The SL-Class is tuned more as a grand tourer, with a comfortable ride suitable for daily driving. On the other hand, the GT models have a firmer suspension and sharper responses, making them more track-worthy.
