The 2025 BMW X1 is a compact SUV that serves as the entry-level model in BMW’s lineup. It competes with other luxury compact SUVs such as the Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, and Volvo XC40. The X1 is designed to appeal to buyers who are looking for a small, versatile vehicle with a touch of luxury.

In terms of performance, the 2025 BMW X1 offers a refined driving experience with a focus on comfort rather than sportiness. The base model comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower. For those seeking more power, the M35i version of the X1 offers a higher output of 313 horsepower. All models come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

One of the standout features of the 2025 BMW X1 is its spacious interior. Despite its compact size, the X1 offers a roomy cabin with comfortable seating for up to five passengers. The cargo area is also surprisingly large, making it easy to haul luggage or other items. The interior materials are of high quality, although leather upholstery is not available in the X1.

In terms of safety, the 2025 BMW X1 has received good crash-test ratings and comes equipped with a host of advanced safety features. Standard features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, active blind-spot monitors, and adaptive cruise control. Optional features such as a surround-view camera system further enhance the X1’s safety credentials.

The 2025 BMW X1 comes with a starting price of $42,125, which includes a generous list of standard features such as alloy wheels, a power tailgate, synthetic leather seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Overall, the X1 offers a good value for the money, especially when considering its premium features.
