The upcoming 2025 BYD Atto 3 has been spotted in China ahead of its market launch, showcasing a refreshed exterior design and enhanced driver assistance system capabilities. This model will be sold as the Yuan Plus in China and various international markets.

The recent sightings of the 2025 BYD Atto 3 during road tests in China have revealed its updated look. Unlike previous models, this version was not heavily camouflaged, allowing observers to appreciate its redesigned front end with a more sporty bumper featuring a larger trapeze-shaped air intake. The rear end of the Atto 3 also showcases a new bumper design with the same trapeze-shaped pattern and a decorative diffuser.

One notable addition to the updated Atto 3 is the new roof spoiler, which now features vertically aligned dual brake lights in place of the previous single light strip. Additionally, the 2025 model was seen in a new beige body color, adding to the existing color options of White, Black, Purple, Blue, Green, and Gray available for the 2024 model.

From a side view, the 2025 Atto 3 boasts decorative chrome-plated strips and partially blackened rear pillars, giving the vehicle a sharper appearance. The front bumper of the updated model also features a new camera, hinting at the integration of new ADAS (advanced driver-assistance system) capabilities.

The Chinese governmental regulator previously listed the updated BYD Atto 3 in the category of car adjustments, indicating that the powertrain and specifications will remain unchanged from the previous model. The current Atto 3 boasts dimensions of 4455/1875/1615 mm with a wheelbase of 2720 mm, along with a single electric motor in the front axle producing 150 kW (201 hp). Two LFP battery options are available for the Atto 3, offering ranges of 430 km and 510 km under CLTC conditions.

The current pricing range for the BYD Atto 3 in China is between 116,800 – 144,800 yuan (15,225 – 20,120 USD). It is anticipated that the updated variant of this SUV will be officially released in the second quarter of 2025. Keep an eye out for more updates on the 2025 BYD Atto 3 as it prepares to hit the market with its refreshed design and advanced features.
