The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is a revolutionary electric vehicle that is designed as a small crossover. It stands out in the market and compares favorably to competitors like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Tesla Model Y, and Kia EV6.

One of the key highlights of the Equinox EV is the introduction of the new sub-$35,000 LT trim level, which ensures that the lineup offers exceptional value without compromising on range. This addition has significantly enhanced the overall appeal of the vehicle, earning it a commendable rating of 7.8 out of 10 on the TCC scale.

In terms of performance, the 2025 Equinox EV boasts a slight power boost in both front- and all-wheel-drive configurations compared to its predecessor. The lineup now starts at a lower price point of $34,995, thanks to the introduction of the LT trim level. The exterior design of the Equinox EV is sleek and modern, with clean lines and a two-tone paint option that adds a touch of sophistication.

Inside, the Equinox EV offers ample space for five adults, with a flat load floor that enhances rear seat comfort. The cargo space is generous, and the rear seatbacks can fold almost flat for added convenience. The cabin is well thought-out, with plenty of storage options for personal belongings.

Chevrolet offers the Equinox EV in two configurations: a 220-hp single-motor, front-wheel-drive model, and a 300-hp, dual-motor, all-wheel-drive model. Both setups deliver smooth acceleration and a comfortable driving experience. The front-wheel-drive model boasts an impressive efficiency rating of up to 108 MPGe and a range estimate of 319 miles, while the all-wheel-drive model offers a slightly lower range of 285 miles.

Safety features of the Equinox EV include General Motors’ Super Cruise system, which allows for hands-off driving on long stretches of road. While crash-test ratings are not yet available, the Equinox EV is expected to offer a high level of safety and security for passengers.

With a starting price of $34,995, the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is a competitive option in the electric vehicle market. It comes equipped with cutting-edge technology, including built-in Google features, although smartphone mirroring options like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not available.

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is manufactured in Mexico, showcasing Chevrolet’s commitment to quality and innovation in the production of electric vehicles. Overall, the Equinox EV is a standout SUV that offers a blend of performance, efficiency, and value for discerning consumers looking to make the switch to electric driving.
