Ford has made some minor changes to its popular F-150 full-size pickup truck for the 2025 model year. One of the most notable changes is the removal of standard equipment on certain trim levels in exchange for lower starting prices. The base F-150 XL grade now starts at $40,705 with a $1,995 destination charge. It comes with a 12.0-inch infotainment display and standard driver aids.

The STX grade has also seen a price reduction, now starting at $44,910 thanks to a new standard 200B package that includes 18-inch wheels instead of the previous 20-inch wheels. The XLT models have a starting price of $47,590, $2,235 lower than the 2024 model year, with a new standard 300A package that removes chrome accents, running boards, dual-zone climate control, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Lariat models are now $2,235 cheaper at $65,255, with the new 500A package making 18-inch wheels standard and removing the power-sliding rear window. The King Ranch and Platinum grades start at $76,800, with no significant changes from the previous year. The Tremor and Raptor off-road models also return, priced at $66,810 and $80,900, respectively.

Ford has also introduced the BlueCruise system in the 2025 F-150, allowing for hands-free driving on mapped stretches of highway. The latest version, BlueCruise 1.4, provides smoother operation and longer periods between hands-on interventions. It is optional on XLT models, comes with a 90-day trial on Tremor and Lariat models, and one year is included on King Ranch and Platinum models.

The F-150 continues to offer a range of engine options, including a 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6, 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6, hybrid powertrain, and 5.0-liter V-8. Raptor models have a more powerful version of the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6, while the Raptor R features a 5.2-liter supercharged V-8. All models come with a 10-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive as standard, and optional four-wheel drive.
