The iconic Lexus LS luxury sedan is back for the 2025 model year with a slight price increase, but no major changes to its design or features. The starting price for the non-hybrid LS 500 version now stands at $81,685, which includes the $1,350 destination fee. This marks a $1,000 increase from the previous model year, continuing the trend of incremental price hikes.

Under the hood, the LS 500 is powered by a robust 3.4-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine that delivers 416 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain enables the large sedan to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds, showcasing its impressive performance capabilities. The standard configuration includes a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, with the option to upgrade to an all-wheel drive system with a Torsen limited-slip rear differential for an additional $3,250.

For those seeking a touch of sportiness, the 2025 Lexus LS 500 F Sport variant offers enhanced comfort features such as a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, panoramic camera system, and aluminum interior trim. It also boasts 20-inch wheels and a distinctive version of the Lexus spindle grille. Priced at $85,825, the F Sport model remains a popular choice among luxury sedan enthusiasts.

In addition, the LS 500h hybrid model is available starting at $116,560 with destination. This hybrid variant combines a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with two electric motors to produce a total system output of 354 horsepower. Standard features include all-wheel drive and the Lexus Teammate system, which allows for hands-free driving on mapped highways and assists with parking maneuvers.

The 2025 Lexus LS celebrates its 35th anniversary, marking a milestone for the flagship sedan that launched the Lexus brand in the late 1980s. While the current generation has been in production since the 2018 model year, it continues to receive updates and enhancements to maintain its position as a top contender in the luxury sedan segment. The latest iteration is expected to arrive at dealerships later this year, offering a blend of sophistication, performance, and cutting-edge technology for discerning drivers.
