Nissan has unveiled the redesigned 2025 Armada full-size SUV, packed with new features and a more budget-friendly price tag. Despite a $1,185 increase from the previous model, the new Armada offers a new body, frame, engine, and spacious interior for a starting price of $58,530, including the destination fee.
One of the standout features of the new Armada is its competitive pricing compared to rivals like the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Toyota Sequoia. Costing at least $2,000 less than the Tahoe and nearly $6,000 less than the Sequoia, the Armada aims to attract budget-conscious buyers looking for a full-size SUV.
In terms of features, the 2025 Armada doesn’t disappoint. The base SV model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, black running boards, roof rails, and synthetic leather seating for eight passengers. It also boasts a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitors as standard.
For those looking to add a touch of luxury, options like massaging front seats, quilted leather upholstery, and an air suspension with adaptive dampers are available. These premium features bring the Armada into the realm of luxury SUVs like the 2025 Infiniti QX80, which starts at $85,000.
Under the hood, the new Armada ditches the old V-8 engine in favor of a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, the Armada maintains its impressive 8,500-pound tow capacity. Four-wheel drive is available as an option, except for the Pro-4X trim where it comes standard.
The redesigned Armada retains its body-on-frame construction, promising improved rigidity and a more modern SUV-like ride. With a larger footprint, the new model offers more interior space for all eight passengers across three rows.
The lineup includes the Armada SL starting at $64,980, the Armada Platinum at $71,940, the off-road-ready Armada Pro-4X at $75,750, and the range-topping Platinum Reserve at $79,000. Each trim level offers a unique set of features and upgrades, catering to a variety of preferences and needs.
Manufactured in Japan, the 2025 Nissan Armada is set to hit the market in December, offering a compelling combination of affordability, features, and performance in the full-size SUV segment.
