Peugeot UK has recently announced the launch of their new E-EXPERT SPORT electric cargo van, which draws inspiration from the brand’s rich motorsport history. The van is designed to bring a touch of racing heritage to the everyday working professional, offering a unique and sporty take on the traditional cargo van.
Based on the Peugeot LCV cargo van, the E-EXPERT SPORT features a distinctive body kit that enhances its sporty nature. With a front lip spoiler and side skirts that give the van an athletic and aggressive stance, the E-EXPERT SPORT stands out from its more pedestrian counterparts.
One of the standout features of the E-EXPERT SPORT is its special “Kryptonite” livery, which is applied to the van’s sides, grille, upholstery, and unique badging. This striking color scheme is designed to mirror the electrified Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar, which is currently competing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) series and the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In terms of equipment, the E-EXPERT SPORT offers additional options compared to the standard LCV model. Features such as dual-zone electronic climate control, keyless entry and start, and wireless smartphone charging are included, along with the Winter Pack that provides a heated leather steering wheel, heated driver’s seat, and side-impact airbags for enhanced safety.
Powered by a 75 kWh battery and a 136 hp (100 kW) electric motor, the E-EXPERT SPORT boasts a range of up to 209 miles on the WLTP Combined Cycle. The van can be charged at speeds of up to 100 kW from a DC rapid charger, allowing for a 10%-80% charge in under 40 minutes.
Pricing for the E-EXPERT SPORT starts at approximately £51,800 in the UK for both the crew and panel versions. Orders for the van will open on April 1st, offering customers the opportunity to experience the unique blend of performance and practicality that the E-EXPERT SPORT provides.
