Dongfeng Motor Group Reports a Decrease in September Auto Sales
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor Group Company Limited (Dongfeng Motor Group) announced on October 10 that its September auto sales amounted to 167,932 vehicles, down 16.41% year-on-year.

Despite the overall decline in sales, 46,479 units of the vehicles sold in September were new energy vehicles (NEVs), marking a 5.95% decrease from the previous year.
Looking at the cumulative sales for the first three quarters of the year, Dongfeng Motor Group reported a total sales volume of 1,366,181 vehicles, showing an 8.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. On a positive note, the group’s NEV sector experienced a 15.4% year-on-year increase in sales, reaching a total of 267,008 vehicles.
Breaking down the performance of Dongfeng Motor Group’s brands for the month of September, Dongfeng Motor Passenger Vehicle Company, which includes Aeolus, eπ, and NAMMI brands, saw a remarkable 120.21% year-on-year surge in sales, totaling 25,544 vehicles. Meanwhile, the premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH achieved a 99.58% increase in sales with 10,001 vehicles sold. The high-end electric off-roader brand MHERO also reported sales of 274 vehicles in September.
