Strategic Partnership between AEROFUGIA and CAACSRI to Advance New Energy Aircraft Development
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- A significant collaboration in the development of new energy aircraft was recently announced as Chinese eVTOL aircraft developer AEROFUGIA and the Second Research Institute of Civil Aviation Administration of China (“CAACSRI”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Chengdu city. This partnership, as highlighted in a press release issued by AEROFUGIA on October 22, aims to promote high-quality civil aviation growth in China.

The strategic cooperation agreement between AEROFUGIA and CAACSRI will encompass collaboration in areas such as R&D, safety testing, scientific research, talent cultivation, and academic exchanges. The focus will be on advancing the design, operational management, and standard-setting for the next generation of new energy aircraft, with a particular emphasis on fostering the standardization and regulation of the eVTOL sector in China.
CAACSRI, a prominent civil aviation research institution under the leadership of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (“CAAC”), boasts a wealth of experience in developing cutting-edge civil aviation technologies. With expertise spanning the entire chain of academic and industrial applications, the institute is well-positioned to contribute to the advancement of new energy aircraft development.
