BYD Xia MPV Exceeds 10,000 Units in First Month of Market Launch

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD has recently announced that their mid-to-large MPV, the BYD Xia, has achieved an impressive milestone by selling over 10,000 units in the first month since its market launch.

The BYD Xia made its debut on January 8, offering customers four different variants priced between 249,800 yuan and 309,800 yuan.

Featuring BYD’s distinctive “LOONG FACE” design language, the Xia boasts a striking front grille with a dragon-scale-armor-inspired design and sleek LED headlights. Its side profile showcases a sleek and elongated waistline, while also including AR projection-activated sliding doors and a tailgate for added convenience.

The BYD Xia measures 5,145 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm. Customers can choose from four color options: Mountain Green, Kiln Purple, Porcelain White, and Sky Black.

Inside the cabin, the BYD Xia is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch front passenger entertainment screen, and a 15.6-inch in-car cinema display. The interior offers two color schemes: Brown-Beige and Mountain Gray.

For advanced driving assistance, the Xia comes with the DiPilot 100 system, featuring 29 sensors for lane navigation, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, and lane departure assistance. It also includes the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system for enhanced ride comfort and stability.

The Xia is equipped with the DiLink 150 smart cockpit, supporting triple-screen synchronized entertainment, intelligent voice-activated connectivity, gaming with controllers, and AR glasses. It introduces the DiSound audio system with 28 speakers and 32 independent audio channels.

Powered by BYD’s fifth-generation DM technology, the Xia combines a 1.5T engine with the EHS200 electric hybrid system. The engine delivers 115 kW of power and 225 N·m of torque, while the electric motor produces 200 kW.
