Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 8, BAIC Group’s commercial vehicle arm Foton Motor and Chinese power battery giant CATL signed a ten-year strategic partnership agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The collaboration aims to advance the electrification of commercial vehicles through the development and application of cutting-edge technologies, expansion into overseas markets, aftermarket services, and ecosystem construction.

The partnership between Foton Motor and CATL signifies a collaboration between two industry leaders in the commercial vehicle and power battery sectors, with a shared goal of promoting the green mobility transformation in the commercial vehicle industry and driving the development of new energy technologies.
Foton Motor, established in 1996, brings to the table 22 core technologies in complete vehicle integration, electronic control, electric drive systems, power batteries, and fuel cells.
