Huawei’s HIMA business is gearing up to launch new models in 2026, with all five brands under its umbrella set to introduce fresh offerings next year. The HIMA portfolio is expected to expand to over 17 models, doubling the current lineup which includes Aito’s M5, M7, M8, and M9; Stelato’s S9T and S9; Maextro’s S800; Shangjie’s H5; and Luxeed’s S7 and R7.

Seres Group, in collaboration with Huawei, is planning to release an Ultimate Edition of the Aito M9 and is also working on securing project approval for the Aito M6. Luxeed is set to revamp its S7 and R7 models with new internal codes, while introducing a large SUV dubbed R9 and an MPV named EHV. Maextro will unveil an MPV model and a luxury flagship SUV priced below the S800, while Shangjie will introduce a large SUV in the first half of the year and a sedan in the second half.

The most highly anticipated model is Maextro’s new SUV, which is expected to have a significant impact on the premium vehicle market in 2026. The SUV, benchmarked against luxury cars like Range Rover and Rolls-Royce, is projected to achieve monthly sales exceeding 40,000 units. Priced between the S800 and Aito M9, the new SUV will incorporate Huawei’s advanced intelligent technologies to rival top-tier luxury vehicles.

To support the launch of the new SUV, JAC has redirected resources from various projects towards the Maextro brand, signaling a strong commitment to the success of this upcoming model. With a focus on product strength and market performance, Huawei and JAC are confident in the SUV’s ability to capture a significant share of the premium vehicle market.

The HIMA business unit’s expansion to 19 models, including the potential launch of the Aito M9 Ultimate and Aito M6, underscores Huawei’s commitment to innovation and growth in the EV market. The introduction of new models from all five brands under Huawei’s HIMA business signifies a new chapter in the company’s journey towards shaping the future of electric mobility.
