Dongfeng Motor Launches DONGFENG BOX Electric Vehicle in Belarus

Dongfeng Motor recently unveiled its latest electric vehicle model, the DONGFENG BOX, in the Belarusian market. The launch ceremony, held on July 11, was met with great enthusiasm as the stylish and technologically advanced vehicle garnered 100 intent orders from eager customers.

The DONGFENG BOX boasts a sleek design, spacious interiors, and cutting-edge technology, making it a revolutionary model in the electric vehicle segment. With a focus on meeting the preferences of Belarusian consumers, Dongfeng Motor selected Belarus as the first export market for this new model, showcasing their commitment to understanding local market trends.

Originally known as the Nammi 01 in China, the DONGFENG BOX made its debut in the domestic market earlier this year. Built on Dongfeng’s Quantum Architecture 3 platform, the vehicle offers six trim levels with prices ranging from 74,800 yuan to 104,800 yuan. Featuring a wheelbase of 2,660mm and a five-seater layout, the DONGFENG BOX provides ample interior space and comfort, including a one-touch reclining function for the driver’s seat.

Powered by Dongfeng Motor’s Mach-E integrated electric drive assembly, the DONGFENG BOX delivers a maximum power of 70kW, peak torque of 160N·m, and a top speed of 140km/h. It offers two range options of either 330km or 430km, catering to different driving needs. In terms of intelligence, the vehicle is equipped with a new-generation 540° panoramic monitoring system that eliminates blind spots and eight mainstream intelligent driving assistance functions, including ACC adaptive cruise control, for a seamless driving experience.

To meet the high demand in Belarus, Dongfeng Motor plans to ship 500 units of the DONGFENG BOX to the local market. The company is also looking to introduce more new models and innovative marketing strategies to enhance the product experience and service, thereby contributing to the development of the Belarusian market.
