DRYFT1, a new company based in Venice, California, is revolutionizing electric mobility with its innovative hybrid product, the DRYFT Board. This unique board cross (HBX) combines elements of BMX bikes and skateboards, offering riders a whole new level of freedom and creativity on the road.

The company, which recently emerged from stealth mode and is fully funded, emphasizes its commitment to “freedom” as its core ethos. Inspired by the vibrant culture of Southern California, known for its recreational activities on land and sea, DRYFT1 has introduced a game-changing electric bike and skateboard hybrid that promises unparalleled fun and expression for riders.

The DRYFT Board features a striking design that may catch your eye at first glance, but its real magic is revealed when you see experienced riders in action. Equipped with an electric motor, this board replicates the exhilarating glide of a drift, offering riders a unique and thrilling experience on the pavement.

With a bamboo, fiberglass, and carbon fiber skateboard deck, the DRYFT Board is built for durability and resilience during slides and maneuvers. Powered by a 500W front hub motor, the board can reach speeds of up to 20 mph and offers a range of 17 to 20 miles on a single charge. However, this hybrid is not just for commuting – it’s designed for sliding, carving, and drifting with ease.

The DRYFT Board features a custom-engineered independent suspension truck system with aluminum alloy construction and 51mm springs for controlled sliding and carving. Riders can choose between “Slide Mode” for smooth sliding or “Carve Mode” for cruising, with a right thumb throttle on the handlebars for speed control.

Additional features include a front hydraulic disc brake, high-quality grip tape on the rear deck, and the ability to disassemble the board for easier transport and storage. Available in two colors – “Dryft Blue” and “Asphalt Black” – the DRYFT Board is now available for purchase on the company’s website for $3,500.

To truly appreciate the capabilities of this innovative electric bike and skateboard hybrid, we recommend watching DRYFT1’s launch video. Experience the freedom and creativity of the DRYFT Board for yourself and join the next wave of electric mobility.
