The much-anticipated ONVO L90 from NIO’s sub-brand ONVO has finally made its official debut at the opening of Auto Shanghai 2025. Serving as ONVO’s flagship model, this large SUV is built upon NIO’s NT3.0 platform, featuring a length of 5145mm and a wheelbase of 3110mm. The new battery-powered EV boasts a six-seat layout, promising ample space for “6 person + 10 suitcases.” Although the interior was not revealed at the auto show, the company plans to unveil more details in the near future. The ONVO L90 is set to launch officially in the third quarter of the year.

Exterior-wise, the ONVO L90 continues the brand’s signature design language, sporting distinctive split headlights dubbed as “Starlight Shining” intelligent interactive pixel headlights. These headlights come equipped with ADB adaptive functionality, including adaptive high beams, dynamic cornering lights, custom light signals, welcome/farewell lighting sequences, and multi-scenario interactions.

On the side profile, the vehicle’s substantial size is evident, measuring 5145/1998/1766mm (length/width/height) with a wheelbase of 3110mm. Two rooftop-mounted cameras hint at a pure vision-based autonomous driving solution. Notably, the ONVO L90 will feature a staggered tire setup, with front tire options of 255/55 R20 and rear tires of 275/50 R20 or 255/50 R21 for the front and 275/45 R21 for the rear.

At the rear, a bold D-pillar design exudes power, complemented by horizontal strip taillights with pixel-based intelligent interactive features. The vehicle will also come equipped with electric side steps and air suspension for added convenience.

Under the hood, the ONVO L90 boasts all-domain 900V high-voltage electric technology, offering both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants. The rear-wheel-drive model boasts a motor with a maximum power output of 340kW, while the all-wheel-drive version features front and rear motors with maximum power outputs of 100kW and 340kW, respectively. All models will come standard with an 85kWh battery pack, available in both lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium options.
