DEEPAL, a new energy vehicle brand under Changan Automobile, recently launched the refreshed DEEPAL S07 model on February 9th. The updated S07 is available in both BEV (battery electric vehicle) and REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) versions, offering advanced driver assistance systems from DEEPAL or Huawei’s Qiankun intelligent driving assistance system.
The AD PRO version of the S07 comes in three variants, priced between 169,900 yuan and 174,900 yuan, while the ADS SE version offers four trim levels ranging from 179,900 yuan to 197,900 yuan.
The exterior of the refreshed DEEPAL S07 features a closed-off grille, frameless doors, and electric hidden door handles. Inside, the S07 boasts an AR-HUD, a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, and a 12.3-inch co-driver ceiling-mounted screen. The infotainment system has been upgraded to the DEEPAL OS 3.0.
At the rear, the model is equipped with a full-width LED light strip, a large-sized spoiler, and a bottom diffuser, enhancing its sporty profile. The lower bumper is accentuated with thick black trim.
In terms of intelligent driving features, the updated S07 offers a comprehensive upgrade in autonomous driving capabilities. The DEEPAL AD PRO version includes highway intelligent navigation on autopilot (NOA), smart parking assistance, front cross traffic alert (FCTB), and automatic emergency braking (AEB) features.
The S07 ADS SE version comes with a 360-degree collision avoidance system (CAS) 3.0 and an 18-way collision avoidance system. It also includes a highway pilot assistance system supporting intelligent lane change, obstacle avoidance, and on/off-ramp support. Additionally, it offers intelligent parking features like remote parking assistance (RPA), automated valet parking (AVP), and exit parking assistance (EPA).
Under the hood, the new S07 is equipped with DEEPAL’s Super Range Extender 2.0 system, powered by a 1.5L range extender delivering a maximum output of 72kW. The S07 offers 31.73kWh or 39.05kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs, providing a CLTC-rated battery-powered range of 215km and 285km, respectively.
Overall, the refreshed DEEPAL S07 combines cutting-edge technology, stylish design, and enhanced driving capabilities to offer a compelling option in the new energy vehicle market.
