Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) celebrated a significant milestone today as the 100,000th Mona M03 electric sedan rolled off the assembly line. This achievement comes just seven months after the launch of the Mona M03, setting a new record for the fastest production of a battery electric vehicle (BEV) model by a new Chinese carmaker.

The Mona M03 has been a key driver of Xpeng’s sales performance in recent months, with the model delivering over 15,000 units per month for the past three months. In January and February alone, the Mona M03 accounted for more than 50% of Xpeng’s total deliveries, highlighting its importance to the company’s overall success.

The electric sedan, which comes in an entry-level version with a CLTC range of 515 kilometers and a long-range version with a CLTC range of 620 kilometers, has been well-received by consumers. With a starting price of RMB 119,800 for the entry-level version and RMB 129,800 for the long-range version, the Mona M03 offers a competitive alternative to other electric vehicles on the market.

Xpeng has also announced the upcoming launch of the Mona M03 Max variant, equipped with the latest autonomous driving technology. Set to be available in May, the Max variant offers a CLTC range of 580 kilometers and will be priced starting at RMB 155,800.

The success of the Mona M03 reflects Xpeng’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the electric vehicle market. With plans to introduce at least 5 EREVs in the near future, including a model based on the X9 MPV, Xpeng continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology and design.

Overall, the Mona M03’s rapid production and strong sales performance demonstrate Xpeng’s position as a leader in the electric vehicle industry. As the company continues to expand its product lineup and enhance its technology offerings, Xpeng is well-positioned for continued success in the evolving electric vehicle market.
