Xiaomo Port has launched 13 domestic and international routes, moving nearly 100,000 vehicles since its opening.
BYD has reported robust international growth, with revenue of 135.4 billion yuan from its overseas businesses in the first half of 2025, more than doubling year on year.

The agreement between Shenzhen Port Group and BYD will focus on deepening cooperation in vehicle roll-on/roll-off shipping, CKD export preparation centers, international container logistics, automotive trade, supply chain services, and greener port operations.
The partnership aims to enhance port logistics capacity by expanding shipping routes, building green transport corridors, strengthening international supply chain services, and supporting new energy bunkering. These measures will reduce costs and improve efficiency in the export process to increase the competitiveness of Chinese cars in overseas markets.
The strategy includes leveraging Xiaomo Port’s operational advantages to expand domestic and international routes, build bonded warehouses, and develop distribution centers for car exports. The goal is to establish Xiaomo as South China’s leading hub for integrated auto roll-on/roll-off trade.
Additionally, the plan involves integrating Shenzhen’s Yantian Port and Hong Kong’s Kwai Tsing Terminals to create a denser global logistics grid. This network will connect directly with major automotive markets worldwide, positioning Shenzhen as a top international trade hub for new energy vehicles.
