According to a report from local media outlet 36kr, the company has appointed Xia Zhongpu as the head of end-to-end technology delivery, reporting directly to smart driving head Lang Xianpeng.
This move comes as part of an organizational restructuring aimed at enhancing long-term technology development following the successful milestones achieved in Li Auto’s end-to-end technology development. Xia Zhongpu, who previously worked on Baidu’s autonomous driving team, brings valuable experience in the fusion of planning and control of smart driving systems with AI neural networks.
Under Xia’s leadership, the behavioral intelligence department at Li Auto has been upgraded to a first-tier department within the smart driving team. Xia’s expertise in AI modeling and his rapid rise in rank within the company demonstrate his strong contribution to Li Auto’s technological advancements.
Li Auto is placing a strong emphasis on next-generation end-to-end solutions and L4 autonomous driving technology.
