BYD Unveils New Yuan PLUS in Latest MIIT Filing
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD has recently revealed its latest vehicle, the Yuan PLUS, in the newest batch of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s vehicle catalog.

The design of the new Yuan PLUS stays true to the current model, featuring a closed-off grille, blacked-out triangular headlights, and a chrome strip with the Chinese character “å…ƒ” (Yuan) logo.
The vehicle’s sleek profile includes coupe-like lines and an upgraded D-pillar trim compared to its predecessor. The current Yuan PLUS measures 4,455 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,615 mm in height, with a 2,720 mm wheelbase.

At the back, the new Yuan PLUS boasts full-width taillights and prominently displays the “BYD” logo.
Key features of the Yuan PLUS include front and side radars, a panoramic sunroof, and roof rails for added convenience and style.
Under the hood, the Yuan PLUS is powered by an electric motor delivering 150kW of power, paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack for efficient performance.
